Tropical Treat Delight December 5, 2012

This is a GREAT snack for little kids, FULL of colors and textures galore! Tropical fruits are helpful in that they are full of enzymes, thus requiring less work on the already taxed digestive system. They do tend to be the higher sugar-content fruits, so this really does make a terrific dessert.

My kids love watching me chop and arrange fruit, I’m sure imagining each with each new piece what it will taste like in their mouth! While all of these fruits may not be in season locally, there are certainly benefits from living in the 21st century! Without an ounce of guilt, I will gladly enjoy this arrangement.

Slice and arrange any of the following:

Young Thai Coconut

Sprinkle with unsweetened coconut for beauteous presentation! Maybe consider some freshly whipped cream for dipping (cultured cream for GAPS ,Primal, lactose-free)
